Jochen Dreyer

Biography
Jochen studied Production Engineering, specialising in Mechanical Engineering, at the University of Bremen where he completed his B.Sc. in 2010 and M.Sc. in 2011. For his M.Sc. thesis under the supervision of Prof. Lutz Mädler on heterojunction photocatalysts made by flame spray pyrolysis (FSP), he received the best thesis award from the Association of German Engineers (VDI) Bremen. Afterwards, he won a Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship and moved to the City University of Hong Kong, where he investigated heterogeneous gas phases catalysts made with FSP. He joined the CoMo group in 2016 where he works on the experimental investigation of oxide and soot nanoparticle formation in flames.Research Themes
