Biography
I am a visiting scholar in the Computational Modelling Group, Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Cambridge. I am currently writing my diploma thesis about the characterization of lactose powder for granulation processes.
I started studying Chemical Engineering at the Technical University of Hamburg (TUHH) in 2006 and attended UC Berkeley, USA, for an academic year in 2010/2011. In the US, I performed research on ionic liquids in the group of Prof. Prausnitz and technoeconomic analysis of biofuels in the group of Prof. Blanch. Prior to joining the CoMo group in Spring 2012, I finished a 6-month internship with BASF in Germany, working in the field of statistical modelling and optimization of absorption design tools.
