Roger Watson

Biography
Roger joined the Department of Chemical Engineering at Cambridge in summer 2009 after completing a PhD in ‘Vertical Dense-Phase Pneumatic Conveying from a Fluidised Bed’ at the University of Surrey. He has around 6 years’ experience of practical engineering research and his former areas of interest include spray drying, flow batteries and solids handling. He is currently working on the LiLa (Library of Labs) project, which aims to make a wide variety of online ‘virtual laboratories’ and ‘remote experiments’ available for educational institutions throughout Europe.Research Themes
