Biography

Jiying completed his B.E degree in Energy and Power Engineering at China University of Petroleum in 2020 as an outstanding graduate. He received the M.Sc degree with Distinction & Dean's List in Power System Engineering at University College London in 2021. His master's project focused on the design and simulation of a Stirling engine utilising waste heat from supercomputers. Jiying is now a first-year PhD student in the CoMo group and a member of St Edmunds College. His current research concentrates on developing a dynamic knowledge-graph-based digital twin that supports the operation of infrastructure and forms an integral part of the response to the challenge of combatting climate change and achieving carbon neutrality for energy systems.
