Biography

I completed my BSc in Meteorology and Oceanography in the University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK, where I studied much of the Geophysical Fluid Dynamics, Theoretical Meteorology, and Environmental Modelling. I decided to explore my interests in Computational Fluid Dynamics and Numerical Methods by pursuing an MPhil in Scientific Computing, Laboratory Scientific Computing (LSC), Department of Physics. In LSC group, I focused more on high resolution solvers for Riemann problems (with discontinuties in the solutions). Towards the end of the course, I become very interested in working with CoMo group on diesel aftertreatment system (surface catalyst and particulate filter), which is the topic of my MPhil dissertation. Furthermore, I have developed interests in Machine Learning Algorithms, such as the Relevance Vector Machine and new techniques for fast and accurate fluid simulation, such as The Level Set Method.
