First year PhD candidates present their findings

Three of the group's first year PhD candidates gave six minute talks on their results so far. Jethro Akroyd, Weerapong Phadungsukanan and Raphael Shirley spoke about modelling turbulent flow, molecular modelling, and titanium dioxide nanoparticles respectively. The subsequent poster session allowed anyone interested to ask more detailed questions and to gain greater insight into the nature of the work.
