First year PhD candidates present their findings

Three of the group's first year PhD candidates gave six minute talks on their results so far. Laurence McGlashan, Markus Sander and Peter Man spoke about computational fluid dynamics, molecular modelling, and sensitivities of particulate processes respectively. The subsequent poster session allowed anyone interested to ask more detailed questions and to gain greater insight into the nature of the work. Laurence was runner up for the best presentation prize.
