Prizes for CoMo Group Members

Computational Modelling Group members presenting at Procter and Gamble's Academic Open Day have won two prizes for their presentations and posters. The event, which took place at P&G's Newcastle Technical Centre, was held on 11th December, 2006 with the aim of fostering closer links between the company and the acadmic community. Several projects in the computational modelling group are sponsored by Procter and Gamble and Andreas Braumann, Christopher Handscomb and Alastair Smith all presented at the conference. They won cash prizes for their work on 'Multi-dimensional Modelling of Granulation' and 'Spray Dryer Modelling'.
